Nick Brigadier

is the writer and director of the award-winning short film Chad is Not the Killer. He served as a director of photography for the Lloyd Kaufman-produced Troma feature film Bring on the Damned! and upcoming short film Waiting For Thee (2026).

He also served as cinematographer and editor for A Show About Coworkers (2021) and web pilot The Dick (2024), all under the production company he cofounded Dapper Devil Productions.

Originally from upstate NY, Nick moved to NYC to pursue his wholly original dream of being a dude in his 20’s who does improv. As a performer he was featured in the acclaimed interactive NYC theater show Accomplice: The Show for two seasons. He’s a graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade Sketch and Improv advanced study programs and performed improv on the indie team Mommie Dearest for about 200 years.

He’s currently a senior video producer, scriptwriter, and host at B&H Photo Video, where he discusses photo/video gear and filmmaking education on their YouTube channel.
